“New Info on the Departure of Kennedy High School’s Principal Harold Clay, Jr.”
It is no secret that “The NOLA Tabloid” has sources all over metro New Orleans. These sources provide information to the tabloid and, in return, their names remain confidential. That is why it came as no surprise that a source, who “The NOLA Tabloid” will not identify, provided sensitive information regarding the sudden and mysterious departure of Harold Clay, Jr. as principal of John F. Kennedy High School.
According to the unnamed source, Clay’s departure resulted from incidents of alleged pay-to-play contracts during his tenure as principal at Edna Karr High School. The unnamed sources claims that Clay was shaking down vendors for alleged kickbacks. School administrators at Edna Karr became aware of the shakedowns and attorneys became involved, the unnamed source alleges. Attorneys representing Edna Karr had the vendors sign non-disclosure agreements in the matter, the unnamed source tells the tabloid.
It is theorized that those skeletons in Clay’s closet from his time at Edna Karr, supposedly derailed his position as principal at Kennedy High School when they were revealed only six short weeks into the school year.
