“NOLA Talk Show Host Receives Creepy Call on Air from Listener”
Today, radio talk show personality Bernie Cyrus, who hosts “Mid-Day New Orleans” on WGSO 990 am, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., received a long and rambling call from a listener that was downright creepy but peaked Cyrus’ curiosity nonetheless.
The male caller was well-spoken without a regional accent and did not sound like a New Orleanian, rather like a northerner. The man said that he used to have a normal life and was once a highly paid business executive. He seriously claimed that one day he happened to have a lengthy conversation with Donald Trump’s former helicopter pilot, prior to Trump announcing his ambitious presidential campaign run for 2016.
The man alleged that he had tape-recordings of Trump’s pilot discussing in detail how his associates were going to arrange, finagle, and even subvert to get Trump elected to the White House. After the 2016 election and Trump’s surprising win, the man alleged that Trump pulled strings to have him involuntarily committed into a New Jersey psychiatric ward, where he has been for the past three-years.
The man claimed that he has appeared in court numerous times regarding his commitment but the judge in the matter has supposedly ordered him to first produce the audio tapes, which he refuses to do.
The man said that his only hope for release is to try to attract attention to his situation by alerting the media and calling into various radio talk shows around the nation.
