“WDSU’s Anchor Gina Swanson Sues New Hubby For Child Support”

Looks can definitely be deceiving! By all accounts, WDSU anchor Gina Swanson is happily married to her new husband, Willie Gray, Sr., after their very public wedding in 2016 and the birth of their son in 2017.

The couple has even gone out of their way to post loving family pics to social media as recently as March & June of 2019. However, it is apparently all fake and simply a façade for the viewing public.

On July 19, 2018, Swanson sued Gray in Orleans Civil District Court for child support. Though the details are sketchy and she later dropped the matter, Swanson unbelievably initiated the legal action against Gray with a motion to establish paternity of their young son, Willie, Jr. Gray voluntarily acknowledged in the court’s record that he is in fact Junior’s biological father.

Swanson was represented by attorney Robbins Graham, who works for the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. Gray was not represented in the matter.

Swanson listed two addresses in court filings where Gray could be served with the legal notice by sheriff's deputies, one in the 1600 block of N. Broad and the other in the 4600 block of Mirabeau Avenue. Yet, Gray was never served.

To date, Swanson has not filed for divorce, though the couple is obviously in a strained relationship.

According to his Facebook profile, Gray lists his workplace as the Dryades YMCA in New Orleans.
