"Why are People Killing Themselves In Front of the White House?"

Why do people continue to kill themselves in front of the White House since Trump's election? Could it be the constant, non-stop negative media coverage of the Trump administration? Is the media somehow driving people to commit suicide near the White House so Trump can watch?

On May 30, 2019, 33-year-old Arnav Gupta died after setting himself ablaze on a grassy knoll on the south side of the White House. On March 6, 2018, 26-year-old Cameron Burgess, armed with a handgun, randomly fired off shots before fatally shooting himself in the head at the White House's north side fence line.
