“U.S. Based E-mail Addresses Tied to Sanctioned Russian Executives”
Just when you thought the drama of Russia collusion was over, think again! This time, it’s not related to the Trump campaign but to executives in Russian oil companies that were sanctioned by the U.S.
“The NOLA Tabloid” has come across exclusive information concerning these executives operating U.S. based e-mail addresses through “Gmail.” The four e-mail addresses include: ilovemoscow.anya@gmail.com, shumov.sasha@gmail.com, judova@gmail.com, maria.konst.zakharova@gmail.com.
Perhaps not illegal, the question remains why Russian executives would need to communicate in the U.S. if their companies, Gazprom & Rosneft, were sanctioned by the Department of the Treasury in 2018. As a result of the sanctions, Exxon Mobil was forced to abandon its joint ventures with Rosneft for exploration in the
Arctic and Black Sea.
In fact, the Justice Department obtained a FISA warrant in 2016 to wiretap Trump campaign advisor, Carter Page, who had connections to top executives in both Gazprom & Rosneft, Russia’s two largest oil & gas producers.
According to a news report from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the FBI intercepted a Russian intelligence officer, Victor Podobnyy, discussing Page’s interest in Gazprom following a 2015 Asia Society function he attended in New York. Podobnyy and another Russian agent, Igor Sporyshev, were later indicted in 2015 on conspiracy charges by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. Both Podobnyy & Sporyshev were allowed to leave the U.S. under diplomatic cover.
Are these e-mail addresses of Russian spies operating in the U.S.? Are these e-mail addresses being used abroad to subvert U.S. sanctions? Or, is this just part of the paranoia fueling the Russia collusion witch hunt?
