“Is Porn Star ‘Pinky’ Really Visiting NOLA, or is it a Scam?”

American showman & circus mogul, P.T. Barnum, said in the 1800’s, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Not a lot has changed since then. It seems there is virtually a scam waiting around every corner. Scam artists today target you electronically, by e-mail, by text, or over the phone.

So, when an advertisement appeared on an adult dating website claiming that the famous female porn star, Pinky, who also goes by Pinkyxxx, was visiting NOLA and booking appointments today, a red flag went up.

The ad states that the 4'11," super-thick Pinky is hosting one-on-one visits at the Embassy Suites Hotel in the CBD. Rates range from $100 to $300 per encounter, based on the amount of time requested. There are several pics of Pinky along with a New York contact phone number, e-mail address, and website listed on the ad. There’s only one little catch, you have to secure your appointment upfront and pay using an app like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Venmo.

So, “The NOLA Tabloid” did some checking and found out that the website address listed, www.pinkyxxx.com, is valid but the e-mail address is bogus. According to Pinky’s official Instagram page @therealpinkyxxx, which has 1.5 million followers, she lists her contact e-mail as “ilovepinkyxxx@gmail.com,” however, the ad in New Orleans is using a knockoff address of “ilovepinkyxxx2@gmail.com,” a one character difference.

Born on June 24, 1982, as Sarah Mirabelli in Oakland, California, to interracial parents, she began a career as an exotic dancer. While working at strip clubs, Mirabelli met several adult film actresses that would debut as headliners at shows. It was her boyfriend at the time who first encouraged her to enter adult entertainment by making a homemade video with him and selling it out the trunk of her car. She appeared professionally in her first hardcore film in 2006 and won Best Female Performer in 2009 at the Urban X Awards.
