“More Info on Escort Wanted for Mardi Gras Murder at Empress Hotel”

Yesterday, the local media widely reported on the murder of a visiting Pennsylvania businessman at the Empress Hotel in the Treme. Early Thursday morning, Patrick Murphy, 62 years-old, checked-in at the front desk with a young, attractive woman identified as 25 year-old, Megan Hall from Tennessee. Murphy paid the tab but put the room in Hall’s name. Approximately two-hours later, Hall left the hotel alone. On Friday, hotel staff found Murphy dead in a bloody scene, reportedly the result of stab wounds. Murphy was most likely expecting to pay for a “happy ending” from a cutie during Mardi Gras but instead had a rude awakening and paid with his life.

So, who is this brunette vixen, Megan Hall? A search conducted by “The NOLA Tabloid” of publicly available sources including the Internet, yields that Hall goes by the name, Leana Marie, and is a full-time, traveling escort. She advertises online and has worked in cities including Phoenix, Charlotte, Beaumont, and, of course, New Orleans. Hall has a previous arrest history in Jefferson Parish for prostituting at sleazy motels. She uses a Houston phone number with a “281” area code on her advertisements and could be anywhere.

New Orleans police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Hall on a charge of second-degree murder.

So, if you come across a raven-haired Megan Hall or Leana Marie this Mardi Gras season, Beware! Her skills are allegedly lethal!
