“WDSU’s Casey Ferrand’s Mystery Fiancé Identified as Birk J. McGee, III”

On December 18, 2018, “The NOLA Tabloid” began its investigation into who is WDSU’s Casey Ferrand’s mystery fiancé. WDSU & Ferrand took to social media to announce her engagement but never bothered to identify the lucky man. Oddly enough, Ferrand & her fiancé appeared in the short video clip together but he did not introduce himself and she never once mentioned his name.

“The NOLA Tabloid” is ready to reveal Ferrand’s husband-to-be as 36-year-old, Birk J. McGee, III, who goes by B.J. McGee. So, what has “The NOLA Tabloid” discovered about McGee?

Based on publicly available records & sourcing, McGee lives in Hammond, Louisiana, and co-owns a home with a female relative. He has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship and currently works for an arts & entertainment company named Organized Kaos, LLC.

Prior to this job, McGee posted a 2014 pic of himself to social media wearing a yellow Waffle House nametag when he managed a location in Amite, Louisiana. McGee has apparently changed his image since then, got a new, chic hairstyle, and began dating a diva like Ferrand.

One thing the high-maintenance Ferrand & McGee appear to have in common is that they are equally self-absorbed. McGee’s Facebook page contains 15 selfies he has posted, including the 2014 Waffle House pic. The musclebound McGee posted a 2017 gym pic of himself wearing a tank-top and admiring his physique in a mirror. Most of McGee’s other selfies consist of him sitting in a vehicle with an annoyed expression on his face.

Without question, McGee has certainly come a long way from his days at Waffle House. He is engaged to marry, arguably, the hottest, female reporter in New Orleans and live a pampered lifestyle as Ferrand’s husband. However, questions still linger why the image-conscious Ferrand never identified McGee until now and if his meager career was to blame? Or, is Ferrand so genuine that she is above such petty and superficial labels as McGee’s past job title?
