“Omarosa Voted with Her Mom in Midterm Elections”
Former reality T.V. star turned White House staffer, Omarosa Manigault Newman, is her mom’s twin. Omarosa posted a pic to social media yesterday of the two after voting in the midterm elections in Jacksonville, Florida. The duo proudly showed-off tiny slips of paper printed with “I Voted,” however, it is unknown which candidates they supported. Her mom, Theresa Manigault, lives in Beverly Hills, California, according to her Facebook profile, so it is unclear how she managed to vote in the state of Florida.
After her falling out with the Trump administration in August, Omarosa quickly negotiated a book deal and made the rounds on network news promoting “Unhinged.” Shortly thereafter, the U.K. news agency “Daily Mail” reported that, in 2005, Omarosa had a fling with Michael Misick, the former prime minister of Turks and Caicos, a British colony in the Caribbean. Misick was later removed from office in 2009 and prosecuted in 2015 on corruption charges. Misick’s lengthy criminal case is ongoing and has spanned three-years so far.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1974, Omarosa’s father was murdered when she was only seven years-old. She later graduated with degrees in journalism and communications from Central State University and Howard University. Omarosa began her political career during the Clinton administration when she landed a job working in Vice President Al Gore’s office. She gained stardom in 2004 for her business savvy and cutthroat tactics on NBC’s reality show “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump.
