“Second Woman Accuses Judge Kavanaugh of Exposing Himself”
Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court faces double jeopardy today, as a second woman now surfaces to accuse him of lustful misconduct over 30-years ago.
News reports began firing-off on social media Sunday night that a new accuser, identified as 53-year-old Deborah Ramirez, has emerged and granted an interview to magazine reporters. The substance of Ramirez’s accusations is based on a drunken memory at a college dormitory party from the 1983-1984 academic year. Both Kavanaugh & Ramirez were freshmen at the exclusive Ivy League school Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, when the incident allegedly occurred.
During her interview with reporters, Ramirez was somewhat uncertain of details “because her memories contained gaps” and she was initially “reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role” in the matter. But eventually, after carefully sorting through her memories over a six-day period, Ramirez told reporters that she now “felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers that Kavanaugh had exposed himself” to her at this party.
Ramirez’s salacious claims are eerily similar to those of Kavanaugh’s first accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a university professor who is scheduled to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee this Thursday. Ford alleges that a drunken Kavanaugh forcefully held her down on a bed and groped her at a party when the two were in high school.
Kavanaugh has since released public statements to the media denying that he ever engaged in such behavior or did anything inappropriate to either Ford or Ramirez. Kavanaugh has characterized the women’s accusations against him as “a smear, plain and simple.”
