“Most Wanted Fugitive that Threatened Trump Arrested Friday in Ohio”

Shawn Richard Christy made the FBI’s “Most Wanted” list after he took to Facebook and allegedly posted online threats to kill a district attorney in Pennsylvania, a local chief of police, and President Donald J. Trump.

A federal arrest warrant was obtained on June 19, 2018, accusing Christy of Interstate Communication of Threats. The FBI offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Christy, a 26-year-old Pennsylvania resident, has been on the run for the past three-months, living off-the-grid in rural and wooded areas. Christy, who has been described as an “outdoorsman” & “survivalist,” managed to dodge a U.S. Marshals task force searching for him.

Things heated up on Friday, September 21, 2018, when local police & federal agents closed in on Christy hiding in the woods of Mifflin Township, Ohio. Although Christy had supposedly vowed to shoot it out with police, he was taken into custody and reportedly armed with a handgun.

Christy, a native of New Jersey, is no stranger to law enforcement. In addition to the federal charges, Christy is facing state charges in Pennsylvania relating to his failure to appear in an aggravated assault case and outstanding warrants for burglary & probation violation, according to federal authorities.
