“Part 2: New Information Revealed About Terrilynn Monette’s Personal Life & Disappearance”
It was initially suspected by law enforcement that this platonic male companion of Monette's killed her in a fit of jealousy. When he left Parlay’s Bar on the night of March 2, 2013, his uncle stayed behind with Monette and friends.
Towards the closing of the bar, Monette left the bar and ended up in the parking lot with an unnamed man that she met that night. The two reportedly engaged in a heated session inside of her car. Surveillance camera footage later showed his pickup truck exiting the lot and turning left, while Monette’s Honda sports coupe exited and turned right.
Monette lived only a very short distance from the bar in an apartment complex on Paris Avenue. According to “The NOLA Tabloid’s” unnamed source, one of Monette’s neighbors at the complex described her as being snobbish and would not respond when others would greet her. This neighbor recalled one incident that took place between Monette and her firefighter boyfriend that visited from California. The neighbor stated that the two got into an argument and shouting match in the courtyard for all to see.
An owner of an automotive repair shop next to Monette’s apartment building recalled an eerily similar episode. The shop owner stated that, prior to owning the Honda, Monette owned a Volkswagen. Monette and her boyfriend brought the VW beetle in and the boyfriend became enraged and “blew up” in the shop after being told the amount to fix her car.
Another neighbor at the complex recalled, more recently to the time she went missing, that Monette would sometimes have another man, described as being younger with a light complexion, leaving her apartment and getting into the Honda with her.
According to a property manager at Monette’s complex, in this same timeframe immediately leading up to her disappearance, the electronic gate activity log showed that she was returning home very early in the morning and staying out all night. It appeared that Monette was sleeping over somewhere and returning home to get ready for work.
